Short-form drama with a cinematic soul

Human storytelling, AI-driven visuals

What NouvelleFrame is

NouvelleFrame is a developing space for episodic, short-form narrative work designed for vertical viewing. We bring together filmmakers and stories we believe in, developing original series and testing how the work can live, grow, and find an audience. We are building deliberately — defining our creative standards, shaping a curated catalogue, and sharing work as it takes form. Our focus is not volume or velocity, but voice, tone, and authorship. We’re shaping a home for vertical storytelling and exploring what a future platform might become — with creators, not ahead of them.

Why it exists

Short-form storytelling has grown quickly, but often at the cost of intention. NouvelleFrame exists to explore a quieter alternative — where short episodes can still feel authored, cinematic, and considered.

  • AI allows new visual possibilities

  • Story remains a human responsibility

What we're drawn to

We are interested in narrative series that are:

  • Episodic and authored

  • Strong in tone and point of view

  • Designed for mobile viewing without feeling disposable

  • Typically 2–3 minutes per episode

  • Genre-open, but voice-specific

A note for creators

We are interested in episodic drama with a clear long-form arc, strong characters, and a distinct point of view. We’re particularly drawn to genre storytelling with intent, including:- Crime thrillers driven by character and moral compromise (not procedural).- Psychological thrillers rooted in obsession, identity, or power.- Romance with an edge, where desire collides with secrecy or control.- Contemporary social drama shaped by power, pressure, or moral conflict.- Art-house drama with narrative drive. We’re not looking for procedurals, soap formats, or purely algorithmic content. Every series should have a clear authorial point of view. We’re drawn to genre because it creates momentum and audience engagement — but we’re not interested in stories that rely on clichés, recycled tropes, or formula alone. We’re looking for work that uses genre, not work that simply repeats it.Creators are asked to provide a 2-3 minute pilot episode.Contact us, using the form below, for more details.
